The same can be said of Whiskey Heat, the band of four North County locals whose friendship, passion and love of music blends together like the elements of a fine spirit.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Like hand-picked ingredients, each member of Whiskey Heat brings their own unique energy, emotion and talent to the mix. The members of Whiskey Heat; Shanyn, Dirk, Chris and Andy, have each been musicians since childhood. Graduating different years from the same high school (go Eagles!), all four continued to sing and play music, together, apart, in and after high school. Then they all went in their own direction. Lived life. Loved. And continued to sing and play music – apart.
Thirty years passed.
Only to be brought back together again.
And you know what? Some things just get better with time.
Whiskey Heat (Dub-H) is a hard-rocking cover band playing all your favorite songs in an eclectic mix from classic rock from across the years, to danceable pop, to mellow ballads, and everything in between. With literally a lifetime of experience, Dub-H knows how to play and how to put on a show. We are high energy performers that take our craft seriously, while at the same time not taking ourselves too seriously. If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong!
